Great gig the other night at the Zoe! It's the 3rd gig since getting our arses back in gear and the 3rd with Andrea our new Drummer!
The Sound was great and it was a great show....damn goood fun!

Hi Guys & Gals,

Well, it's about time I got off my arse and wrote something here. I'd like to start by thanking all those who attended our "comeback" gig at the Rock & Roll club on the 31/01/09 in Milan. The gig went better than expected, with hardly any fuck ups at all. The stage was small but the sound was good and the feedback we got from the crowd was far better than anything we could have hoped for! I would also like to add that Andrea our new Drummer has really made a difference. The energy level on stage has increased ten-fold!

Hi folks...
Just a few lines written from a deep, dark and smelly dressing room in Antwerp, Belgium!
I've just started the second part of the U.D.O World tour...Flew into Germany last night..got on the tour bus and woke up here! This time, I promise to update as often as possible..
As for Neracruz..... I'd like to announce that we have a new drummer... new songs.. new studio.... and it's sounding bloody great! I'll give you all a full update very very soon! In fact, as I write this, the rest of the guys are already staring pre-production in the studio...
2008 is going to be great....

Per quanto rigurada i Neracruz ..... Sono felice di annunciarvi che abbiamo un nuovo batterista, un nuovo studio e nuove canzoni con una musicalità grandiosa!
Vi darò un aggiornamento completo molto ma molto presto!
In realtà mentre scrivo, il resto del gruppo è in studio in pre-produzione...

Hi readers..
Yes it's been ages..Yes I think I have an excuse..and yes I'm talking out of my arse!
Well to start off with, I did some pretty cool shows working as stage manager for my Swiss friends Gotthard. We started off with a show in Tokyo, took the train to Osaka, did the show. We then flew to Seoul in South Korea, did some sight seeing, the show and some more sight-seeing. It was then off to Moscow... This is was where it all started to go wrong! The trip was pure hell..We started off by flying to Hong Kong where we spent six hours in the bloody areoport. The next leg was to London.. 14 hours in a tin can is NOT fun.... I then had to drag my sorry Arse through even more metal detectors for the connection flight of four hours to Moscow! By now my jet-lag really started to kick in! Then it was Customs and straight to the Hotel.
If anyone has ever been to Hotel Kosmos they'll know what I'm talking about: One trip from the bar to the elevator...and six propositions from 'Professional Ladies of the night'. What is it about Russia and prostitutes? Then 'as usual' after 5 mins in my room, the phone rings asking if I would like to spend some time with a 'Russian girl'.... I just wanna sleep!
The next day I went for a seven hour walk with Nicolo (Keyboard Player) around Moscow.. damn good fun but damn hard work! We then did the show and went stright to the Train Station for the trip to St. Petersbourg..... Had a bit of a party..nearly got arrested in the Restaurant Wagon after it was made clear by a rather drunk undercover Police-Man, that our new Russian friends were in-fact 'Gangsters'. After getting back to Milan I spent three days trying to coax my brain into some kind of normality...and caught the Flu!!!
Then of course it was time for a bit of Skydiving..and somehow manage to bugger up my hand in a 'mild' mid air collision whilst trying to get into a 5 way formation!
Is there a moral to this story...of Course not. Did I learn anything from this...You must be joking! BANZAI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Si, è passato tanto tempo... e penso di avere anche una giustificazione... e si, stò dicendo una sacco di str***te!
Per ben cominciare bhè, ho fatto qualche bel lavoro come responsabile di palco per i miei amici svizzeri Gotthard. Abbiamo cominciato con un concerto a Tokyo, preso un treno per Osaka per un altro concerto. Abbiamo quindi volato verso Seoul, Sud Corea, per un ulteriore concerto ma anche per girare come dei turisti. E poi Mosca... E da qui è cominciato il disastro... Abbiamo cominciato volando ad Hong Kong dove siamo rimasti fermi per 6 ore in aereoporto! Poi Londra... 14 ore in una lattina non è certo bello... Allora ho dovuto spostare il mio c**o oltre diversi metal detectors per la coincidenza per Mosca! A questo punto i problemi con i fusi orari sono cominciati! Così controllo passaporti e poi dritti in hotel!
Se qualcuno è mai stato all'Hotel Kosmos, saprà sicuramente di cosa parlo: una camminata dal bar all'ascensore e sono stato "invitato" per ben 6 volte dalle professioniste notturne! ma cos'ha la Russia con le prostitute? Dopo appena 5 minuti in stanza mi squilla il telefono e, indovinate? Mi chiedevano se volevo "provare le ragazze locali".... Ma io voglio solo dormire!!!
Il giorno dopo ho camminato per circa 7 ore con Nicolò (il tastierista) in giro per Mosca... Dannazione, divertente ma quanto abbiamo camminato! Dopo il concerto abbiamo corso come dei disperati per prendere il treno per San Pietroburgo... Una piccola festicciola... e siamo stati quasi arrestati da un ubriaco polizziotto in borghese appena hanno scoperto che i nostri amici Russi (o meglio, i tizi che ci offrivano da bere) erano dei Gangsters! Appena tornato a Milano ho passato tre giorni per poter rimettere a posto il mio cervello... ed ovviamente l'influenza mi ha travolto in pieno!!!
Poi, ovviamente, era anche tempo per un bel lancio e, ovviamente, sono anche riuscito a farmi male la mano in una piccola "collisione" in aria mentre provavo ad unirmi con gli altri per una formazione a stella di 5!
Ma esiste una morale a questa storia... ovviamente NO.
Ho imparato qualcosa da tutto ciò.... ma state scherzando???

Hi friends..
Been a while I know, but the bank insists that I work to keep em' happy and rich!
So it was off again teching for my Swiss buddies Gottard.
My last week:
5/9/07: Flew to Kavarna (BG) had dinner, went to bed at 03:30 h.
6/9/07: Lobby call at 09:30 h (six hours dreaming). Show finished at 24:30 h, had dinner, party and travel back to the hotel. Arrived at 02:30 h. 03:00 h lobby call. (half an hour sleep).
7/9/07: 05:15 flight to Biasca (CH) (slept 1 hour on the plane).
7/9/07: Finished work at 03:30 h. 07:30 lobby call (four hours sleep ).
8/9/07: Arrived in St. Julian (F), did the show, back in the hotel at 04:30 h. Lobby call at 07:30 h (three hours kip)
9/9/07: Arrived in Raismes (F), did the show, had dinner, huge party went to bed at 03:00 h. Lobby call at 12.30 h (after shower, breakfast etc, seven hours in the sack)
10/9/07: Got back to Milan at 20.30 h.....
Total sleep for five days: Twenty one and a half hours.... Fuck me I'm tired!

La mia ultima settimana:

5/9/07: Ho volato a Kavarna (BG) ho pranzato e sono andato a letto alle 03.30

6/9/07: Chiamata alle 09.30 (solo sei ore di sogni). Lo spettacolo è finito alle 24.30, ho cenato, party e corsa nuovamente in hotel. Arrivato alle 02.30 avevo la chiamata alle 03.00 (dormito per mezz'ora)

7/9/09: Volo per Biasca (CH) alle 05.15 (ho dormito 1 ora in aereo).

7/9/09: terminato il lavoro alle 03.30, chiamata alle 07.30 (dormito quattro ore)

8/9/09: Arrivo a St. Julian (F), fatto spettacolo, rientro in hotel alle 04.30 Chiamata alle 07.30 (tre ore di sonno).

9/9/07: Arrivo a Raismes (F), fatto spettacolo, cenato, grande party e corso a letto alle 03.00. Chiamata alle 12.30 (dopo la doccia, colazione etc... sette ore sotto le coperte)

10/9/07: Rientro a Milano alle 20.30....

Sonno totale per cinque giorni: vent'un ore e mezza.... Ka..o sono stanco!

Hi there again,
On the 15th December 2006 I 'posted' my first 'post'! My blog was supposed to be a temporary thing until the 'Official' Neracruz site got back on line. Didn't quite work out like that...after discovering just how interesting the blog World could be I just kept going....driven by a mad desire to dominate the Universe with as much 'trivial crap' as my fingers could type. I then started growing fond of many of my on-line friends! I mean, you can't blame me, you're all soooooooooo lovely! At the end of the day..the 'official' site was postponed and my blog became not only Kev, the guitarist from Neracruz's page, but the voice of the band! S'pose that makes me a real rockstar (-;
Why am I dribbling on and on you might ask! Well yesterday we broke 10,000 visits! 10,000 people who've heard our Music, read my incomprehensible dribble, left comments, voted for a favourite song, downloaded our music, liked us, hated us, complemented the band or told us not to give up our day jobs!
This post is dedicated to every single one of the 10,000!!!!

Allora ho cominciato a crescere con l'affetto di molti degli amice On-Line! Voglio dire, non potete incolparmi, siete così belli! After being inundated with requests into exactly what happened to Boom Boom in Poland, I've decided that Sweden's longest kept secret can finally be revealed.
Back in 2004 I was UDO's Guitar tech with Boom Boom as Drum tech. We flew into Poland from Milan with the intention of meeting up with the rest of the guys, who were flying in from Germany. After a rather uneventfully dinner with Igor (Guitarist) and Lorenzo (Drummer) we headed off to nearby restaurant to meet up with the others. Back then, as is also the case now, the consumption of alcohol is requisite for getting and keeping your job...So, complying to the rules of Rock 'n' Roll we started out on the Vodka. A full blown drinking competition was soon in full swing between us and the Support band! I have no idea what the bill was as it was all paid for by the management, but we did manage to get through over 20 bottles of top notch Polish fire water. As Vodka experts will tell you...You never feel drunk until you leave the building...and oh boy, it hit us all hard! We all ended up wandering in different directions, with me, Boom Boom, Lorenzo and a guy I can't remember going off in search of a Taxi. After arriving at a taxi bank ,Boom decided it would be rather cool to take a face dive into a pool of his own recently ejected dinner. He was bleeding, semi consious, broken mobile and covered in vomit. this didn't improve our chances of getting a cab....In fact they all turned us down. After about an hour of Cabs speeding away at the sight of us drunken louts, the Police turned up with the full intentions of arresting us all. Luck had it that one of the coppers was a fan of the band, so after promises of free tickets to the show, a pleading Cab driver was forced almost at gun point to take us to our Hotel while poor ol' Boom redecorating the interior of the Taxi with his own brand of Swedish meatballs. Did we learn from our experiences......Of course not!

dopo le inumerevoli richieste di sapere cos'è accaduto esattamente in Polonia a Boom Boom, ho deciso che il segreto mantenuto più lungo in Svezia può essere infine rivelato.

Nel lontano 2004 ero il tecnico di chitarra di UDO e Boom Boom quello della batteria... Volavamo verso la Polonia da Milano con l'intenzione d'incontrarci con gli altri che stavano volando dalla Germania. Dopo un pranzo con Igor (Chitarrista) e Lorenzo (Batterista) ci dirigiamo fuori dal ristorante per incontrarci con gli altri. Il consumo di alcool in questi casi è richiesto per ottenere e mantenere questo tipo di lavoro… così, aderendo alle regole del Rock'n Roll, abbiamo iniziato con lo scolarci della sana vodka. Non ho idea di quant'era il conto perchè era già tutto pagato, ma siamo riusciti ad ottenere ben oltre 20 bottiglie dell'Acqua Infuocata. Poichè i veri esperti di vodka dicono: non sarete mai ubriachi fino a che non lasciate l'edificio… bhè ragazzi, questa volta siamo stati colpiti molto duramente! Abbiamo finito vagabondando in diverse direzioni, con me, Boom Boom, Lorenzo ed in un tipo che non posso ricordarmi chi fosse ma che mi aiutò a cercare di un taxi. Dopo essere arrivati ad una stazione di taxi, Boom Boom ha deciso che sarebbe stato piuttosto figo tuffare la faccia in una fontana per riuscire ad espellere più facilmente il resto del proprio pranzo. Stava sanguinando, semi cosciente, spaccato e ricoperto di vomito. Ma tutto ciò non ha migliorato le nostre probabilità di ottenere un taxi…. In effetti tutti ci giravano alla larga... Dopo circa un'ora che i taxi acceleravano lontani da noi, ci becca la polizia con l'intenzione di arrestarci tutti. La fortuna ha voluto che uno di loro era un fan della band così, dopo avergli promesso un'entrata gratuita per il concerto, un povero tassista è stato forzato a caricarci e portarci in hotel mentre il povero Boom Boom decorava l'interno del taxi con le sue personali polpette svedesi.
Abbiamo imparato molto dalle nostre esperienze ...... o forse no?

It's been a while I know....Sorry bout that!
I'd like to dedicate this short post to all the people I met at the ROCKHIMLEN festival in Helsingborg. I was there this weekend with my Swiss buddies Gotthard..Great show, great people...great town!
I'd also like to dedicate this post to the coolest guy I know...Boom Boom! Boom boom (Daniel) was the Pyro guy for Gotthard a few years back...we've been friends ever since. It's a shame that whilst playing football, the goal keeper mistook his back for the ball...shattering his spine...the good news is that after a long stint of 'PlayStation' in the hospital he's back on his feet...Cheers for coming all the way to Helsinborg, with your lovely wife, to see me!
Just for you my friend, I've posted some photos of you, when we were in Poland...After we skillfully emptied a restaurant of all its Vodka....Ha ha ha...Great times!

Voglio anche dedicare questo post a Boom Boom... L'ho conosciuto alcuni anni fa quando era il pirotecnico sempre dei Gotthard... ed alla fine siamo rimasti buoni amici! E' un peccato che qualche tempo fa giocando a calcio il portiere ha scambiato la sua schiera per un pallone... rompendo così la sua spina dorsale. Bhè, la bella notizia è che dopo tanta 'PlayStation' in ospidale, è di nuovo in piedi... Grazie per aver viaggaito fino ad Helsinborg, con la tua bella mogliettina, solo per venirmi a salutare!

More incomprehensible dribbling from ME…
Let’s start off with some more Birthday greetings, a bit late I know, but I’ve been away…My niece Lauren who has enjoyed twelve years of annoying the fuck out of my Sister and my Dad who’s suffered 34 years of me annoying the crap out of him! Special thanks to Mum who put together our memorable stay in that beautiful Villa in Tuscany….Sooooooo, Happy Birthday again, again and again!
Blogging’s been hard as I’ve been away with Gotthard for quite a while running around Switzerland and Germany…still, it makes it all the more fun when I do finally put finger to keyboard and express my , thoughts.
Neracruz is going from good to better, with some pretty impressive new material….so a trip to the recording studio is in the pipeline as well as negotiations with an independent label. You will be kept informed!
Next week I’ll be picking up my parachute. I’ve been without it for a few weeks after having sent my AAD (automatic activation device) for a factory checkup…so I’ll be doing as many jumps as humanly possible…..For those who are wondering, the AAD is the thing that opens my reserve chute if I, for some reason am unable to…a pretty important bit of kit!
So with that I’ll leave you to enjoy your days, nights, weekends, husbands, wives, other people’s husbands and wives and of course those unforgatable sounds that only Neracruz have the courage to infest & infect the World Wide Web.

Ciao amici del Rock..
E’ giunto il momento di farfugliare delle incomprensibili frasi…
Cominciamo con altri auguri di compleanno, un po’ in ritardo ma sono stato via.. Mia nipote Lauren che per ben dodici anni ha fatto impazzire mia sorella e mio padre che ha dovuto subire per ben 34 anni le mie “marachelle”! Un ringraziamento speciale va a mia madre che è riuscita a riunire finalmente tutta la famiglia in una splendida villa toscana… Quindi: Tanti auguri ancora, ancora ed ancora!
È stato difficile scrivere in questo periodo visto che sono stato in giro per la Svizzera e la Germania con i Gotthard… ma vuol dire che è più bello quando finalmente riesco a mettere le dita sulla tastiera ed esprimere i miei pensieri!
I Neracruz stanno andando sempre meglio con dei nuovi materiali molto interessanti così stiamo organizzando di andare in studio di registrazione come anche nuovi contatti con una discografica indipendente. Ma non preoccupatevi, vi terrò informati!
Il prossimo fine settimana riprenderò il mio paracadute. Sono stato senza per alcune settimanedopo aver mandato il mio AAD (Sistema di apertura automatico) per il controllo! Per chi non lo sa l’AAD è l’aggeggio che apre automaticamente la riserva nel caso io non ci dovessi riuscire… un piccolo pezzo molto importante!
Così con questo vi lascio godere le vostre giornate, notti, fine settimana, mariti, mogli, concubine ed ovviamente gli indimenticabili suoni che solo i Neracruz hanno il coraggio di infettare ed infestare il “World Wide Web”.

Today's Rimbina's Birthday! I wish to thank her for putting up with my strops, smelly feet, smelly socks, smelly pits, smelly farts and my messy ways. I also wish to thank her for putting up with the fact that I don't like shoe shopping, supermarkets, clothe's shopping, Friends, Captrain harlock, a posto al sole, tidying up, visiting the in-laws, beaches, sun bathing, leting her drive. And I musn't forget a special thanks for letting me spend all our money on Skydiving, Shooting and Biking while she goes hungry wearing nothing but rags...Rimbina, this Post is dedicated to you and our beloved King, who left us one year ago today...Not a minuit goes by without thinking of you, RIP.

Another Perfact Day

Hello felow Rockers!
These days time is harder to come by than an honest Italian Politician, but we do what we can, no? The truth be known that yesterday I had the time to do a bit of blogging but the sun was shinning and the VFR was beckoning! I flew around Milan, it’s outer districts, it’s bad but free A roads and it’s bad but expensive private Motorways always looking for another excuse to stay in the saddle for a few more miles! Then it was back to the Garage to check the chain, oil, tyres etc…then a few more miles to check if all was well. Just as I’d finished chaining the beast to the garage wall, I got a call from Raff explaining how he was floating in a sea of ideas and could I get down to the studio ASAP for a good ol’ bash of songwriting. Yes I thought, another excuse to unchain the beast and ride the longest route available to our slime covered and rather festering studio. We recorded a few new ideas before being joined by the other three personalities that form that Gothic, pop Monster known as Neracruz. After running through the set a couple of times it was back on the beast with a smile on my satisfied but rather road dirty face… back home in time for milk and biscuits!

In questi giorni è piu difficile trovare tempo libero che un politico Italiano onesto, ma facciamo quello che possiamo, no? La verita è che ieri ho avuto un pò di tempo per scrivere sul blog, ma il sole splendeva e la VFR mi chiamava! Ho guidato per Milano, la sua provincia, le sue gratis ma maltenute stradi statali e la cara e brutta autostrada, sempre cercando una scusa per stare in sella per un pò di miglia ancora! Sono tornato poi in box per controllare catena, olio, gomme etc… poi qualche miglia ancora per vedere se tutto andava bene. Avevo appena finito di incatenare la bestia al muro del box quando Raff mi ha chiamato dicendo che stava nuotando in un mare di ideee e di correre subito in studio per scrivere delle idee nuove. Bello, un'altra scusa per scatenare la bestia e prendere il via per arrivare in studio. Abbiamo registrato alcune nuove idee prima dell'arrivo degli altri tre personaggi che fanno parte del mitico gruppo Gotico, pop che si chiama Neracruz. Dopo aver fatto il set un paio di volte è giunto il momento per mettermi nuovamente in sella alla mia bestiale moto con un sorriso sul mio soddisfatto, ma sporco d'asfalto, volto… per arrivare a casa in tenpo per il latte e biscotti!

Yeahhhhhhhh!
I’ve been away for what seems like a lifetime…..
I’m back in Milan for another three hours, then I’m back on tour again with my Swiss buddies Gotthard! The tour’s going great and although the work’s tough I’m having a great time..
But enough about work.. This week I had a couple of days off and in true Rock ‘n’ Roll spirit me and La bella Rimbina flew to London, picked up my new bike and rode the 1200km back to Milan in one day…My arse is sore, my back is bent but I feel really great!
I’ll still be unable to blog every day due to me travelling around quite a bit, but I’ll do my best!
I’m also looking forward to next week when I’ll be back in the studio with those ever so sexy Gods of Rock…..Neracruz. I also hope to catch up on a bit of Skydiving!

Sono stato via per tanto tanto tantissimo tempo…..
Addesso mi trovo a Milano per le prossime tre ore prima di ripartire nuovamente con i miei amici Svizzeri Gorrthard! Il lavoro è duro, però mi stò divertendo un casino...
Basta parlare di lavoro...Questa settima ho avuto un paio di giorni liberi e, nel vero spirito del Rock ‘n’ Roll, io e la bella Rimbina siamo volati a Londra per prendere la mia nuova moto. Poi abbiamo fatto circa 1200km in un giorno… Ho il culo e la schiena rotta, ma mi sento da Dio!
Non sarò ancora in grado di bloggare tutti i giorni perchè viaggio così spesso, ma farò del mio meglio!
Sono anche contento che la prossima settimana sarò dì nuovo in studio con quel gruppo super sexy…Neracruz. Spero di fare anche un pò di Skydiving!

BOY GEORGE vs KNUT

Dear dear friends,
Although I've been away for a few days...what with me already preparing for Gotthard's World tour as well as tying up loose ends here in Milan. I'll still be doing my best to keep you (My loyal subjects) amused with my 'o' so interesting news updates and witty little stories.
Let's get started then! Today we'll start off with Boy George.
The British born Singer known to his Mother as George O'Dowd, has once again been arrested. This time for GBH against Auden Carlsen, a Norwegian model hired on-line to pose for a photo session. At the end of the shoot the model was handcuffed and not allowed to leave the premises while Boy George fetched a whip from nearby box...Carloen eventually managed to escape and wearing only a pair of pants was able to reach the nearest Police station. "It's ironic" said carlsen "that his biggest ever hit was, Do you really want to hurt me, and I really believed he wanted to do me harm" I thought he wanted to kill me....
Now for something a bit more serious. Obviously I'm talking about Berlin Zoo's mascot: KNUT. It seems as if the Polar Bear cub has become a symbol for the struggle against global warming with the help of his 'own' web site and a book. Craig Hatkoff. owner of the Turtle Pond Publications is, with the help of the publishing house Scholastic, planning the release of a book entitled "KNUT, the bear that amazed the world" (The title my be wrong by the way). The book will be full of photos as well as the bear cubs own special story...a web site will follow shortly after. Knut's plight will be about the dangers facing the 'melting' and destruction of his natural snow topped habitat. Without a doubt I'll be on his list of online-friends.....
That's all for now....and although I no longer have the possibility of posting single every day....I do, and am always WATCHING ha ha ha ha!

sono scomparso per qualche giorno... Ma sono arrivato agli sgoccioli con il vecchio lavoro e sono già in giro per il mondo con i Gotthard... Ma nonostante i miei grandi impegni mondiali, terrò fede alla mia promessa: allietarvi con le mie belle storielle ;-)
Bene, oggi girovagando nel web mi sono soffermato su una notizia alquanto curiosa che riguarda Boy George. Il cantante inglese, al secolo George O'Dowd sembra abbia ricevuto un'ulteriore denuncia per sequestro di persona ed aggressione dal modello norvegese Auden Carlsen. Sembrerebbe, infatti, che il modello fosse stato contattato via internet per posare in un servizio fotografico. Ma, al termine, il bel modello è stato ammanettato e bloccato ad un gancio. Così, mentre la pop star cercava in un baule delle fruste appropriate, Carlsen è riuscito a liberarsi e a fuggire per raggiungere, in mutande, il primo poto di polizia. «È ironico – ha detto poi Carlsen - che il suo maggiore successo sia stato “Do you really want to hurt me?” (Vuoi davvero farmi male?), perché ero sicuro che volesse fare del male a me. Ma parliamo di cose serie e, ovviamente, torniamo alla mascotte dello zoo di Berlino (ed anche di questo blog oramai): KNUT. Sembrerebbe che l'orsetto polare possa diventare il testimonial della campagna mondiale contro il riscaldamento globale tramite un proprio sito Web e un libro.
Craig Hatkoff, fondatore della newyorkese Turtle Pond Publications, ha dichiarato che la casa editrice Scholastic pubblicherà il libro dell'orsetto, intitolato "Knut: come un piccolo orso polare affascina il mondo", con la storia e le foto e con l'idea di lanciare a metà anno anche il sito web.
Knut ha attirato l'attenzione sul problema degli orsi polari tra i timori che il riscaldamento globale sciolga il loro habitat. Ovviamente io sarò nei suoi "On-Line Friends"....

What's the word on the street? Don't mess with Hugh Grant!
It seems as if the smooth talking actor lashed out at a paparazzi with a tin of baked beans. All I can add is...nice one Hugh. I mean I know it's supposed to come with the job, what with being famous an' all, but it's hardly surprising that every now and then they get a little pissed off! I mean these Paparazzi are only there to get some kind of scoop, often antagonizing the celebrity hoping for some kind of reaction! All in the name of selling some god awful shite gossip magazine! I personally don't have this problem coz' I wear a disguise, am surrounded by Members of Jack Bauer’s CTU (Counter terrorism unit) and live in a bunker seventy feet underground in an oxygen bubble.
I also just heard that Richard Gear is in trouble after kissing Bolliwood star Shilpa Shetty on the cheek live on stage in India ! Apparently they've issued a warrant for both of their arrest...hang on, aint he supposed to be a Buddhist?

Cosa si dice per strada oggi? Non far incazzare Hugh Grant!
Sembra che il distinto attore britannico ha attaccato un paparazzo con dei faggioli. Posso solo aggiungere che ha fatto bene! So che quando si è famosi parte del lavoro è quello di essere spiati, ma non è una sorpresa quando ogni tanto si sente che qualcuno si è "ribellato"! Ricordiamoci che questi paparazzi spesso provvocano le celebrità per avere qualche piccolo scoop! Tutto per vendere qualcosa a qualche giornale di gossip merdoso!
Personalmente non ho di questi problemi perchè mi travesto, circondato dai membri della squadra CTU (Unità anti-terrorismo) di Jack Bauer e vivo settanta piedi sotto terra dentro una bolla d'ossigono in un bunker anti-nucleare!
Ho appenna sentito inoltre che Richard Gear è nei guai per avere baciato la star di Bolliwood, Shilpa Shetty, sul palco! Apparentemente la polizia indiana vorrebbe arrestarlo per atti osceni in luogo pubblico! Scusate... ma lui non è un Buddista?

Whilst checking out the daily headlines I came across a rather odd story.
Andrei Melnichenko, Russian millionaire, decided to hold this years birthday celebrations in London. To help blow out his 35 candles he chose the star Jennifer Lopez. Not as a guest, but to perform on a stage built for her and her dance troop. The event lasted about 40 minuits and the sexy star J.LO is believed to have been paid a staggering 1.2 million dollars for the performance. the shocking news is that this amazing sum of money was for the performance and the performance only. It seems as if Melnichenko paid another 800,000 dollars for her to stick around and be nice to the guests...well bugger me with a fish fork!!
It's not the first time that Melnichenko has forked out to mix with the stars! He gave Christina Aguilera 4 million dollars to show up at his wedding.
At this point I apeal to the world: Is $100.000 to much to ask to have the one and only Neracruz perform at your birthday party???

Leggendo qua e la fra le notizie mi sono imbattuto in una storiella alquanto bizzarra.
Andrei Melnichenko, miliardario russo, ha deciso quest’anno di festeggiare il suo compleanno a Londra. Per spegnere le sue 35 candeline ha voluto essere accompagnato da una star di tutto rispetto: Jennifer Lopez. Ma la notizia buffa è che, a differenza di quanto tutti credono, la bella J.Lo non si trovava a Londra come invitata, bensì come “evento” della serata. Infatti la cantante si è esibita per circa 40 minuti su un palcoscenico costruito a doc per lei ed il suo corpo di ballo.
Bene, la notizia che mi ha lasciato esterrefatto è stata scoprire quanto era il cachet della cantante. Ebbene, le è stato pagato circa 1,2 milioni di dollari solo per l’esibizione (i restanti 800 mila dollari per l’ospitalità ovviamente erano a parte)… inoltre sembra che sempre questo Melnichenko abbia già pagato in passato un’altra cantante per esibirsi due anni fa in occasione del suo matrimonio. Solo che al tempo si trattava di Christina Aguilera e che al tempo aveva “sborsato” ben 4 milioni di dollari…
A questo punto faccio un appello al mondo intero: i Neracruz sono disponibili alle feste di compleanno per la modica cifra di 100 mila dollari.

I found it! I've finally got hold of Peter Jackson's classic splatter film 'Bad Taste'. I'm not usually a fan of this kind of film, but this is sooooooo crap that it's priceless! A few moons ago after doing a gig with my old band Konkrete Gerbil I actually witnessed the pure power of such a flic! James (Stiff) our drummer actually vomited whilst watching...since then I've always been a fan! It was filmed in New Zealand on a budget that wouldn't even cover my lunch...Go and see it!

L'ho trovato! Finalmente ho trovato il classico di Peter Jackson 'Bad Taste'. Non sono di solito un fan di questo tipo di film, ma questa è la cagata più bella del mondo! Alcune lune fa, dopo un concerto con un mio vecchio gruppo "Konkrete Gerbil" ho visto il vero potere di questo tipo di film, quando James (Stiff), il nostro batterista, ha vomitato mentre lo guadava... da allora sono stato sempre un fan! E' stato girato in Nuova Zelanda con un budget che non coprirebbe neanche il costo del mio pranzo... andate a vederlo se non l'avete ancora fatto!

It almost seems as if poor old Knut (The Polar Bear) has become an integral part of my blog. The latest update is a bit odd. It seems as if Germany 's celebrity polar bear cub Knut has received an anonymous death threat! What? Students going on shooting sprees in schools, global warming in the name of not having smelly (arm) pits and now death threats on Polar Bears! That's it, I'm off to Mars... this worlds getting weird!

Skydivers, Enfield & Thai

Today's post is a bit late..but after such a full out busy weekend I wasn't counting on finding so much work to catch up on this morning...let me fill you in:
Friday, as most of you already knew, I went to a 'Flygang' skydiving friends wedding. The wedding was held in perfect skydiving style. No need then to mention the bride arriving at the doors of the Church by plane then? No need to mention either how the wine flowed. It'd also be a waste of time to say how we all jumped for free...the Bride & Groom having paid for all the (Skydiving) guests....(Cheers mate)
Singer and Michaela...congratufucklations!!!!
Instead of a long awaited lie in on Saturday morning I got up at the crack of Dawn to visit 'EXA', the Italian arms exhibition...for those who don't know, I'm a keen shooting enthusiast, and deadly shot (-; (For me the Enfield stand was the true highlight...I thought I'd found paradise..)
Sunday saw me as the perfect little house slave (In my house...the wife rules) while my Rimbina was with our little killer (Padme, the cat we found) at a cat show! Turns out that our Kitten is a perfect 'Thai' and as such was awarded a pedigree (Cool) She also (can you believe it) won the "Best in Show" award....so I'd better shut up as I seem to have been relegated to the lowest form of life in our house-hold..First Rimbina, then Padme, then the other two cats and then finally me! I think I need another weekend...

Oggi posto tardi rispetto ai giorni passati... ma dopo un week-end così impegnato non pensavo di trovare così tanto lavoro al rientro... Ma andiamo per gradi:
Venerdì, come vi avevo anticipato, sono andato al matrimonio di uno dei miei amici skydiver della FlyGang... E' stata una giornata splendida, in perfetto stile "paracadutista". Inutile dirvi che la sposa è stata accompagnata all'altare in aereo, ed i litri di alcool che si sono versati, ma la cosa più bella, ovviamente, è stata LANCIARSI GRATIS... Gentilmente offerto dallo sposo...
Pensavo di rilassarmi poi nel week-end ma... sabato sveglia all'alba per andare a Brescia all'EXO di tiro (ho trovato anche uno stend di Enfield, ero in paradiso...)
domenica a casa a fare il perfetto "Cenerentolo" (perchè si sa che le donne comandano in casa e mia moglie è un carceriere... - Ti amo Rimbina - ) mente lei, mia moglie ovviamente, era con la
killer di casa (la nostra piccola gattina salvata dalla strada) ad una mostra di bellezza felina dove alla fine è stata riconosciuta come Thai (e quindi le è stato dato il pedigree come novizia) vincendo anche il Best In Show... quindi ora sono costretto anche a stare zitto se la reginetta di casa cercherà di ammazzarmi....
Ho bisogno di un'altro fine settimana per riposare!!!

250 Bottles of 137 year old beer was recently discovered in Scotland. The beer or Ale should have been undrinkable but was found to be "absolutely amazing".
The Victorian beer was part of a cache of 250 vintage bottles found in the vaults of Worthington's White Shield brewery in Burton-on-Trent.
According to Steve Wellington, Worthington White Shield's head brewer, said: "It was always rumoured that there were some vintage beers on site but no one had bothered to taste them because it was assumed they wouldn't be drinkable. It seems that the reason for this remarkable preservation was the way in which they were sealed using corks and wax and then stored in ideal coll temperatures! The flavour was described as showing many flavours including raisins, sultanas, baked apple and honey. The oldest – the 1869 Ratcliff Ale – is bright and luminous like an ancient Amontillado sherry and has a meaty character like smoked partridge with hints of molasses. Dude, I'm getting thirsty!

250 bottiglie di birra vecchie di 137 anni sono state recentemente scoperte in Scozia. La birra o "Ale" dovrebbe essere inbevibile ma lo stato di conservazione è "assolutamente stupefacente.
La birra Victoriana faceva parte di un nascondiglio di 250 bottiglie d'annata trovate nella fabbrica di Worthington's White Shield a Burton-on-Trent.
Steve Wellington, il titolare della Worthington's White Shield, ha dichiarato: “Si è sempre detto che qui c'erano determinate birre d'annata ma nessuno si è mai preoccupato di assagiarle perché si è presupposto che fossero inbevibile. Sembra che il motivo per questa stupefacente conservazione era il modo in cui sono stati sigillati usando sugheri e cera così da creare la temperatura ideale! Il sapore è stato descritto come la mescolanza di diversi sapori compreso l'uva passa, l'uva sultanina, la mela cotta ed il miele. La più vecchia - la Ratcliff Ale del 1869 - è chiara e luminosa come uno sherry antico di Amontillado ed ha un carattere carnoso come la pernice affumicata con la melassa. Amici, ho la gola secca!

So, it seems as if we've really screwed up the world!
Now I'm sure the intentions are good... but why does it always take a pop concert to wake up the world? Is it because if we don't make a such a serious matter fun, then we don't care?
Madonna, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Razorlight will be among the acts taking part in a star-studded concert at the new Wembley Stadium to highlight the threat of climate change.
It's good to see that these heroes of our age really care...and to think for a minuit I thought that they were just after free publicity! I must be getting cynical in my old age!

E così sembra che abbiamo rovinato definitivamente il mondo!
Ora sono sicuro che le intenzioni sono buobe... ma perchè allora bisogna sempre organizzare un concerto per svegliare la coscienza umana? E' forse perchè se non facciamo così non prendiamo nulla seriamente?

Here's a little update on 'Knut' the Polar bear I spoke about a while back! It seems as if the bear has been saved and has become quite a sensation.
About 125,000 people traveled to Berlin zoo over the Easter weekend to get a glimpse of Knut, the polar bear cub who has become a global sensation. About 300,000 extra people have visited the Zoo since the four-month-old cub, who was rejected by his mother at birth faced the death sentance. It seems as if the bears instant popularity has saved Knut from an uncertain future!
The 13.8-kilogram (30-pound) bear comes out into the open air twice a day, around midday and in the early afternoon, to jump on the rocks, wade through the pond and roll around to the delight of his hundreds of admirers.
What great news to start off the day!

Questo è un piccolo aggiornamento su “Knut„ l'orso polare di cui ho parlato in uno dei miei vecchi post! Sembra che l'orso sia stato salvato e si è trasformato in una famosa attrazione.
Circa 125.000 persone hanno visitato lo zoo di Berlino durante il fine settimana di Pasqua per dare un'occhiata a Knut, il cucciolo d'orso polare che si è trasformato in una star internazionale. Circa 300.000 persone extra hanno visitato il giardino zoologico per vedere il cucciolo di quattro mesi che è stato abbandonato alla nascita dalla madre. Sembra come se la popolarità immediata degli orsi abbia salvato Knut da un futuro incerto!
L'orso di 13.8 chilogrammi (30-pound) viene fuori nell'all'aperto due volte al giorno, intorno a mezzogiorno e nel primo pomeriggio, per saltare sulle roccie, attraversare lo stagno e rotolarsi a terra con grande felicità dei suoi centinaia di ammiratori.

This day seems difficult to place in our calendars, but the calculation is entrusted to nature. In fact, Passover is the first Sunday after the first full moon of the spring equinox, 21 March. Quite simply, the Sunday after full moon after the 21st of March…
The ancient Persians celebrated the spring equinox by exchanging hen eggs.
The Romans, always for the Equinox, buried in fields eggs painted red.
In Spain, in the “Saint Semana”, the tradition wants that the confraternite religious (the Costoleros or Nazarenos) leads a processione along roads and alleys, wearing long sacred garments, pointed hoods and carry sacred relics that represent the Passion.
In Polonia, the Gavettone. Normally, the day after Passover. Known as Smigus-Dyngus , where buckets of water are thrown about...(thtat's my fave)
In France 3 days before Passover, bells are sent to the church to Rome in order to have them returned the same day.
In Denmark, instead, tulips and other flowers are planted in the garden right after the celebrations, PASKEBRYG is then drunk, a special beer only produced and sold in this period (hmmm, I think I could get to like that one….)
In England, Hot Cross Buns are prepared, a treat with a crossed shaped decoration on top, that apparently has magical powers and brings luck(although history shows us tha this special bread came from paganism, where it was used as a gift the Goddess of the Spring).
In Germany The Osterhase, or Easter Rabbit exists, made of chocolate, that lays chocolat eggs in the German houses where, the children, have the task finding them.
And Italy? Everything centers on the huge family meal and, as well as the usual chocolate eggs and Colobo (a sweet breat, covered in suger)…

Oggi dedico un'ulteriore Post alla Pasqua.
Questa giornata sembra difficile da collocare nei nostri calendari, ma il calcolo è affidato alla natura. Infatti, Pasqua è la domenica successiva al primo plenilunio successivo all'equinozio di primavera, il 21 marzo. Quindi, per farla breve, la domenica successiva alla luna piena dopo il 21 marzo...
Ma come viene festeggiata Pasqua?

Gli antichi Persiani festeggiavano l'equinozio di primavera scambiandosi uova di gallina.
I Romani, sempre per l'Equinozio, sotterravano nei campi un uovo dipinto di rosso.
Ma ai giorni nostri le tradizioni non sono molto diverse.
In Spagna, nella "Semana Santa", la tradizione vuole che le confraternite religiose (Costoleros o Nazarenos) in processione per strade e vicoli, inscenino la penitenza indossando lunghe vesti sacre, cappucci a punta seguiti dai Pasos,un'immagine sacra trasportata su un pesante piedistallo, che rappresenta la Passione.
In Polonia, invece, ci si affida ad un gioco che fa da protagonista: Il Gavettone. Normalmente è il giorno successivo alla Pasqua, detto Smigus-Dyngus, dove ci si spruzza con grandi secchiate d'acqua (penso che questo sia il mio preferito).
In Francia 3 giorni prima di Pasqua, mandano le campane della chiesa a Roma per poi farle ritornare al loro posto la domenica stessa.
In Danimarca, invece, si piantano i bulbi di tulipani e altri fiori nei giardini di casa subito dopo i festeggiamenti, mentre si beve la PASKEBRYG, una speciale birra prodotta e venduta solo in questo periodo (penso che anche questa sia di mio gradimento....)
In Inghilterra, invece, si prepara la "Hot Cross Burns", uno speciale panino al latte con le decorazioni a forma di croce che, si dece, abbia poteri magici e porti fortuna (anche se la storia di questo pane speciale ci riporta al paganesimo dove veniva usato come dono alla Dea della Primavera).
In Germania esiste l' Osterhase, o Coniglio Pasquale, tutto di cioccolato, che porta le uova nelle case tedesche dove, i bambini, hanno il compito di scovarle in tutta casa. Una vera e propria caccia al tesoro...
E l'Italia? Tutto centrato, ovviamente, sui grandi pasti e, anche qui, sulle uova di cioccolato e colombe con uvetta passa e canditi...
In tutte queste tradizioni, voi come passerete la Pasqua? Aspetto sia suggerimenti, sia informazioni sulle tradizioni che non ho menzionato. In qualsiasi caso:

One of the more annoying of life's sounds has to be the dentists drill. As a child I suffered all manner of pain and discomfort at the hands of the Spanish Inquisition (Dentist), what with the brace, fillings etc..but you knew it was for the better good.... but after reading that a dentist was found guilty on Thursday of urinating in his surgery sink and using dental tools meant for patients to clean his fingernails and ears I think I'd rather just knock em all out and get china ones!
A medical tribunal said it was satisfied the evidence showed 51-year-old Alan Hutchinson, who routinely did not wear gloves or wash his hands, had risked the health of "himself, staff and patients" for more than 28 years.
A dental nurse who worked for Hutchinson for 16 years said she had caught him urinating in the sink more than once.
"He was tucking something into his trousers before zipping them up hastily. I walked over and I was behind him. He moved to the left and I could smell urine," the nurse told the tribunal.....
That's just ruined by breakfast!

Uno dei rumori più irritanti nella vita dev'essere il trapano del dentista! Da bambino ho sofferto l'inquisizione spagnola del mio dentista, ma sapevo che era per una giusta causa. Ma dopo aver letto che un dentista è stato condannato dopo aver fatto pipì nel lavandino del lavoro ed aver utilizzato gli attrezzi di lavoro per pulire il naso e le unghie, penso che preferisco avere i denti falsi!
C'è inoltre la prova che Alan Hutchinson, 51 enne, non lavava mai le mani ed ha giocato con la salute dei paziente per oltre 28 anni.
Un'infirmiera che ha lavorato per 16 anni per Hutchinson lo ha trovato pisciare nel lavendino più di una volta...
l'infirmiera ha detto al tribunale "Stava mettendo via quolcosa nei pantolnoi prima di chiuderli velocemente, mi sono avicinata e ho sentito l'ododre di urina"
Cavoli... Mi ha rovinato la colazione!

So, it turns out that good ol' Keith Richards was just taking the piss! If you can't trust the real rockers to snort their Fathers then there's no hope for us kiddies!
I've never been a real fan of the latest fad technology: like phones that do everything etc... But I have just bought a new Sat Nav... and seeing as how I often have problems finding the Toilet I do find it a useful bit of kit! It also takes the stress out of finding all those little venues in the middle of nowhere... cool! I also just got a new phone...the cheapest I could find! Guess what? It only works as a phone (only phones? I hear you gasping with shock)!!! Sorry, but when I buy something that's fashionable, I feel a bit like some kind of consumer slave....you know? The kind of people who buy all the accessories for their i-pods!

Ma ho appena comprato un nuovo navigatore satellitare... e, visto che ho sempre dei problemi anche per trovare il bagno, la trovo una bella idea! Mi toglierà lo stress di trovare anche quei picolli locali nel bel mezzo del nulla.... fico! Ho preso anche un nuovo telefono... quello che costa di meno! Sapete una cosa? Funziona solo come telefono (Solo telefono? Vi sento urlare desperati)!! Scusate ma quando compro qualsiasi cosa che sia di moda... mi sento un pò come uno schiavo del consumismo... Come il tipo di persona che compra anche tutti gli accessori per l'i-pod...

Todays post is of a political agenda...but not with the intention to offend!
I was just a lad back in 1982 when Argentina invaded the Falkland islands but it seems like yesterday. It seems as if old wounds are about to be reopened after Argentina claimed that it will fight on to win sovereignty over the British-controlled Falkland Islands, 25 years after a disastrous war for control of the islands.
Argentina's ill-fated Falklands campaign is widely seen as a bad move by the military dictatorship ruling at the time.
Britain has said that it will only enter talks if the 2,900 islanders want it to, 2,900 islanders who consider themselves British!
The 10-week conflict killed about 650 Argentine and 255 British troops in 1982.
I believe that the islanders should decide....

Ero molto giovene nel 1982 quando l'Argentina aveva invaso le isole Falkalnd, ma sembra ieri. Sembra che le vecchie ferite stanno per essere riaperte dopo che l'Argentina ha dichiarato che sono pronti per vincere la sovranità britannica sulle isole, 25 anni dopo una guerra disastrosa per il controllo delle stesse. La Gran-Bretagna ha detto che entrerà nei colloqui con l'Argentina solo se i 2.900 isolani che si considerano britannici lo desidereranno! “Il conflitto di dieci settimane aveva ucciso circa 650 truppe dell'Argentina e 255 britanniche nel lontano 1982."

Nothing much to go on about today..the news is full of the usual crap, although I am a bit worried about the British sailors held hostage in Iran! It could get nasty!!
Although it is good news about Wales banning smoking in all pubs, clubs etc etc...Italy did it ages ago, so why not the whole of britain!
I had a great weekend..no Skydiving but did loads of shooting(target)! Damn good fun....I'm just a big kid really!!

Però una bella notizia è sul Galles che ha deciso di mettere al bando il fumo in tutti i locali. Visto che l'Italia l'ha fatto tempo fa, perchè UK ci sta mettendo così tanto tempo?

Well I just got offered another tour with U.D.O as stage manager at the same time...They're all good friends, they all pay loads of cash! Seeing as how Marco Cruz has busted his finger (twat) Taking a couple of months to do a tour ain't a bad idea...but which one?

Ricordate quando ho detto che mi era stato offerto un tour con i miei amici svizzerei 'Gotthard'? Bene, mi è stato appena offerto un'altro tour con U.D.O come stage mananger, nello stesso periodo. Sono tutti e due amici, e pagano bene tutti a due! Visto che Marco Cruz ha rotto il dito, perdere un paio di mesi per una tournèe non sara poi un grosso problema...ma quale?

After 17 years Rowan Atkinson finally decided to kill off Mr Bean. As soon as he finished filming "Mr Beans holiday" the English actor declared: "It will be far too difficult to sell it again on the big screen..."
Personally I'm chuffed! I was never a big fan, and without a doubt preferred his TV series "Black Adder" that, unfortunately, was only ever screened back in my beloved England! Black Adder brought out the best in this extraordinary actor but what with it being based on what's known as British humour...it never caught on abroad! (basicly the rest of the world ain't funny ha ha ha)
Changing subject, what's this about Paris Hilton loosing her virginity (did she ever have it?)
What's gone wrong with the World to make a person like that famous? What's she got to offer...??
At this point I prefer my Cat, who at least had the decency to dress well, what with her being Bin Laden's personal assistant!

E così anche Rowan Atkinson ha deciso, dopo ben oltre 17 anni, di dire BASTA con MR Bean. Appena terminato di girare la pellicola di "Mr Bean's Holiday" l'attore inglese ha dichiarato: "Penso proprio che sarà molto difficile rivederelo sul grande schermo o in televisione..."Personalmente dico: FINALMENTE! Non mi è mai piaciuto molto questo personaggio quanto la serie tv "Black Adder" che, purtroppo, ho visto solo nella mia amata patria. Sicuramente quella serie metteva in evidenza la bravura dell'attore oltre alla grande genialità comica...Cambiando discorso, devo dire che è molto interessante scoprire come Paris Hilton ha perso la sua verginità... Ma, sarcasmo a parte, mi chiedo: Da dov'è uscita questa tipa? Cos'ha fatto nella vita per essere considerata una VIP? I've always been a strong supporter of animal rights groups, but I must admit to being quite shocked when I heard that animal rights activists are lobbying for an abandoned polar bear cub born at Berlin Zoo to be put down.
The cute little thing named 'Knut' attracted attention when he was ignored and abandoned by his Mother.
The activists say domesticating the bear is cruel, unnatural and will prevent him forming relationships with other bears in the future...strange thing to say seeing as Polar bears anyway live a life of solitude, as was confirmed by Andre Schuele, chief vet at Berlin Zoo, "Polar bears live alone in the wild. I see no logical reason why this bear should be killed."
He added: "Polar bears are under threat of extinction, and if we feed the bear with a bottle it has a good chance of growing up and perhaps becoming attractive as a stud for other zoos."
While I agree that keeping endangered animals in a Zoo is not the best solution. I believe it's the only to way right the wrongs committed by 'us' the Human race! But then again, what would I know!

Sono stato sempre un forte sostenitore delle associazioni sui diritti degli animali, ma devo proprio ammettere di essermi sentito alquanto scosso quando ho sentito che questi attivisti stanno tifando per abbattere un orso polare nato nello Zoo di Berlino. Il cucciolo chiamato 'Knut' ha attratto l'attenzione quando è stato ignorato ed abbandonato da sua madre. Gli attivisti dicono che addomesticare l'orso è crudele, innaturale ed eviterà di instaurare rapporti con altri orsi in avvenire… Strana cosa da dire visto che gli orsi polari vivono l'intera esistenza in solitudine, come confermato da Andre Schuele, capo veterinario dello Zoo di Berlino, “gli orsi polari vivono soli in natura. Non vedo alcuna ragione per la quale quest'orso dovrebbe essere ucciso.„

Ha aggiunto: “Gli orsi polari sono sotto la minaccia d'estinzione e se alimentiamo l'orso con una bottiglia esso ha una buona probabilità di crescere e forse diventare fonte di ricerca per gli studi in altri Zoo.„

Bhè, penso che mettere gli animali in uno Zoo non è di certo la soluzione migliore. Credo che sia l'unica strada per raddrizzare gli sbagli che vengono commesso da “noi„ razza umana!

Ma allora, cosa Ca**o ne so!

I just read something in the papers that made me chuckle! Supermodel Naomi Campbell may have to scrub dirty toilets as part of her punishment for hitting her maid on the head with a mobile phone. Apparently she was also seen taking a pair of Army boots with her to a fashion show, ready to swap from high heels to footwear more fitting to toilet scrubbing duties ha ha ha!
She was also handed a mop, broom, shovel and rubbish bin ready for her new role.
Too right I say! Seeing as how she's a role model for many young people, her violent and arrogant attitude shouldn't go unpunished!
"If they're dirty, she will be cleaning toilets," the department's sanitation boss chief Al Durrell told reporters.
"If anyone refuses to perform a task they are basically sent back to court and they deal with the judge."
The south London-born 36-year-old's tasks will include sweeping the garage floor and the department's offices, mopping locker rooms and cleaning windows.

Ho lappena letto qualcosa sul giornale che mi ha fatto ridere! Where to start?
In the freinds section you'll notice a new entry: Gotthard... I had the honour of spending many a drunken tourbus party with these guys. I did a couple of world tours with them serving as a low down dirty beer smelling roadie....so when yesterday I got a call from them saying that they were in Milan promoting their new album, I jumped at the chance to pop down and say hi! While waiting for them to finnish some interviews, me and Rimbina took a walk to Central Station...This is where the fun starts! My wife was rather nervous and wanted to leave this rather infamous area! But me, oh no... I just told her to stop being silly as nothing could happen to us! Famous last words!!! We found aourselves alone in a back street, when all of a sudden three '(so as to not offend I'll not mention their nationality, although you can probebly guess)aproached us asking some odd questions about buses and what-not! One got between me and Rimbina, another got behind me while the other blocked the only exit! After giving them some eqal BS about busses in perfect Italian they just gave us a funny look and dissapeard...Central Station is famous for attacks on tourists, and believe me I do not look Italian! So, the only explanation is that they thought it better to go for a more juicy prey! The scary thing is that, alone with my wife, I couldn't have done a thing if something kicked off! Rimbina was still shaking an hour and a half later!
The moral of the story...Whenever Rimbina says "jump", I'll reply "how high"!
A good side to the night was an offer to get paid bucket loads of cash this summer to once again bring cold beers and shout "check the mike" as a Roadie for my fine Swiss buddies...so, seeing as how Neracruz are all spending the summer in old age homes...I think I'll accept!
But that's not the only good news...It's Friday and tonight I'm leaving for Molli DZ for a weekends skydiving! My bags ready, parachute packed and if you check out the Flygang site you'll be able to see the list of fun activities lined up! The beer will be flowing and the sky is very very high! Dove iniziare?

Nella sezione dei freinds noterete una nuova entrata: Gotthard… Ho avuto l'onore di passare molte feste ubriache sul tourbus con questi tipi. Ho fatto paio di giri del mondo con loro usato come un sporco roadie… così quando ieri ho ricevuto una loro chiamata che mi dicevano di essere a Milano per promuovere il loro nuovo album, ho colto la palla al balzo per andare a salutarli! Mentre aspettavo che finissero di fare qualche intervista, io e Rimbina abbiamo fatto una passeggiata in stazione centrale… e qui comincia il divertimento! Mia moglie era piuttosto nervosa e voleva lasciare questa zona alquanto malfamata! Ma io, oh no... le ho detto di smettere di essere sciocca perchè nulla ci sarebbe accaduto! Le ultime parole famose!!! Ci siamo ritrovati soli in una via sconosciuta, quando tre brutti ceffi si sono avvicinati facendoci alcune domande sugli autobus e qualcos'altro! Uno si è messo fra me e Rimbina, un'altro si ha messo dietro me mentre l'altro ha chiuso l'unica via d'uscita! Dopo avergli rifilato qualche bugia sui vari bus in un'italiano perfetto, ci hanno guardato in un modo un pò strano e poi sono andati... La stazione centrale è famosa per gli attacchi ai turisti ed io vi garantisco che non sembro affatto un italiano! Crediamo che, dopo aver capito che non eravamo turisti pieni di soldi, hanno deciso di aspettare qualche preda più appetitosa! La cosa spaventosa è che, solo con mia moglie, non potevo fare nulla se fosse successo qualcosa! Rimbina era ancora agitata dopo un'ora e mezza!

La morale della storia… ogni volta che Rimbina dice “salta„, le risponderò “quanto alto„!

Un lato positivo della serata è stata un'offerta per guardengare un botto di soldi quest'estate ancora una volta a bere birra e controllare che funzioni il microfono, come Roadie per i miei compagni svizzeri… così, visto che come Neracruz passarò l'estate in qualche ospizio… penso che accetterò!

Ma questa non è l'unica buona notizia… è venerdì e 'stasera andrò a Molli DZ per il fine settimana da skydiver! La mia borsa è già pronta, il paracadute è già piegato e se andate a vedere il sito di Flygang potrete vedere quello che facciamo! La birra fluirà ed il cielo è molto molto alto!

This morning, whilst gracing the roads with my presence, I saw one accident and two fights... within a few seconds of leaving my house, I saw a rear ender which ended with two well dressed elderly gentlemen threatening to kill each others families. Then, within the blink of an eyelid, I saw a man take a swing at another who had eligibly cut him up! What's up.... if you can't take the stresses of the road DON'T drive: take a bus!
Also..Red noses have been banned from the BBC's celebrity show Comic Relief's 'Fame Academy', because they are a fire hazard.
The foam noses, sold to raise money for the cause, have been deemed a health and safety risk. WHAT... has the world gone nuts??

Questa mattina, mentre la strada tollerava la mia presenza, ho visto un'incidente ed una lite... alcuni secondi dopo aver lasciato casa mia, ho visto due signori anziani vestiti per bene che minacciavano di uccidere le rispettive famiglie. Poi, dopo un battito di ciglia, ho visto un uomo che provava a dare un pugno ad un altro uomo che gli aveva tagliato la strada! Ma cosa succede... se la strada è troppo stressante NON guidate: prendete un pullman! Inoltre i nasi rossi da pagliaccio sono stati viatati da un celebre programma della BBC perché sono stati classificati a rischio d'incendio. I nasi di gomma piuma, venduti anche solo per beneficienza, sono stati quindi ritenuti a rischio sanitario e di sicurezza. CHE COSA… il mondo è impazzito?? Bhè... Questo è tutto per ora. Ci vediamo

Hi,
Whilst watching the news last night I saw a report that really made me sick!
An old frail and elderly lady was beaten around the head and knocked to the ground as she's robbed of what is thought to be $33.
The authorities in New York are looking for the man who attacked a 101 year old woman in her apartment building.
The attack was taped by the building's security camera and has been released to the public hoping that this will help find the total scum bag.
I unfortunately saw this video and must say that it's totally ruined my week! the trouble is that even if caught, scum like this almost always get light sentences and maybe a few hours community service...
I've never really given a monkey's arse about being politically correct. So please forgive me for saying that I really believe the gallows to be too good a place for a scum like that! There I said it...sue me!

guardando le notizie la notte scorsa ho visto un servizio che mi ha lasciato senza parole! Una signora delicata ed anziana è stata picchiata ed ha battuto la testa a terra per rubare solo $33. Le autorità a New York stanno cercando l'uomo che ha attaccato questa donna di 101 anni. L'attacco è stato registrato dalla macchina di sorveglianza ed è stato messo in onda sperando che questo possa contribuire a trovare il fesso che ha commesso questo orribile crimine. Purtroppo ho visto questo video e devo dire che ha completamente rovinato la mia settimana! Anche se arrestato, questo sacco di merda farà qualche giorno in galera e qualche ora di servizio sociale per la Comunità… Non ho mai preteso di essere politicamente corretto. Così perdonatemi se dico che Io credo realmente che l'impiccagione è troppo buona per uno come lui! Ho detto quello che penso... fatemi causa se volete!

Friends, Romans, Countrymen.
Well it's Monday again! I hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was ok, except for a run in with a shop assistant, who's idea of a good days work was "insisting that he knew more than me whilst desperately trying to wriggle out of the fact that he'd just sold me some total and utter crap"!!! I also enjoyed the Rugby. A good match between Ireland and Scotland..A not so good match between Italy and Wales although it's good to see Italy improving their game...as well as bringing good old Italian traditions into the match! Stamping on legs, pulling shirts, punching the opponents in the head as well as a very classy headbut etc(come on guys...It's Rugby, not football). The best game of course was England vs France! It's been a while since England won...so great result England!
I also spent a few hours blasting paper targets down at the local shooting range....much fun was had by all, well maybe not by the paper targets!
Sooooo, keep voting for your favourite Neracruz song and book your flights to Milan for the gig on the 23rd!

E' Lunedì! Spero che il weekend sia andato bene per tutti! Il mio è stato bello, tranne per un pirla di commesso di un negozio con l'idea che una buona giorna di lavoro è quella di insistere nell'avere ragione, mentre disperatamente cerca di provare a nascondere il fatto che mi ha appena venduto un sacco di merda!!!

Cmq mi sono goduto la visione di un buon Rugby. Una bella partita fra l'Irlanda e la Scozia. Un'altra non così buona dell'Italia ed il Galles, anche se è bello vedere l'Italia che migliora il suo gioco… così come introdurre le buone vecchie tradizioni italiane: pungi, calci testate etc! (dai raga… è Rugby, non calcio). La partita migliore naturalmente è stata tra l'Inghilterra contro la Francia! È passato un pò di tempo da quando l'Inghilterra ha vinto… Brava England!

Inoltre ho speso alcune ore sparando a sagome di carta al poligonno più vicino… molto divertimente!

Allora, continuate a votare per la vostra canzone dei Neracruz favorita e prenotate i vostri voli a Milano per l'evento del ventitre!

Who cheated when they were at school? I know I did..never caught either - Of course we didn't have the internet. Instead we had to come up with indgenius ways fooling the examiners. It's a sad state for the youth of today that candidates for British universities have been caught red-handed copying their applications from the Internet. It seems that hundreds used the same phrase "burning a hole in pyjamas at age eight" on their online entrance forms.
Apparently this phrase was nicked from a Web site which provides examples of personal statements used by successful candidates. Oh dear..If these guys are going to be running the country when I'm old, well, there might not even be a country!!!!
On another note! Yesterday I had a discussion with a friend about Prince Charle's comments on banning McDonalds! No way, but I do believe that just as pubs can legally refuse to serve people obvioussly intoxicated, then why can't fast food 'servers' refuse to serve the obese? And as for that clown they use to sell heart attacks to little kids...sure scares the hell out of me!

Chi ha mai copiato quando era a scuola? Io si.... e non sono mai stato scoperto - naturalmente non avevamo Internet. Invece abbiamo dovuto affinare i sensi d'intelligenza per imbrogliare meglio gli ispettori. È triste per la gioventù di oggi sapere che i candidati per le università britanniche sono stati scoperti a copiare da Internet. Sembra che centinaia di ragazzi hanno usato la stessa frase “che brucia un foro in pigiama all'età di otto„ sul test d'entrata. Questa frase è stata trascritta apparentemente da un Web Site che fornisce gli esempi delle dichiarazioni personali usate dai candidati che sono stati promossi... Se questi tipi saranno il nostro futuro, aiuto!!!!

Un'altra cosa! Ieri ho avuto una discussione con un mio amico circa le osservazioni del principe Carlo sul vietare McDonalds! NOOOO… Io credo che mentre un barista si può rifiutare di servire la gente ovviamente intossicata, allora perchè non possono rifiutarsi gli “assistenti„ dei fast food di servire un obeso? E per quanto riguarda quel 'clown' che usano per vendere gli "attacchi di cuore" ai bambini … mi fa troppo paura!

I was checking out the headlines to see if there was anything worth commenting on this morning...and you know what, there's nothing, absolutely nothing! Just the usual BS about footballers beating each other up, stupid ex Big Brother bints and news that depresses the hell out of me! Today I definitely got out of bed the wrong side...There's only one thing for it! A full English Breakfast...yummy, I can almost feel my arteries closing!
On a brighter note...I heard that Pete IS bringing his dog to our gig on the 23rd...and yes, the dog will be buying his own ticket! We'll also be arranging coach services from all major Italian areoports to ship our millions of fans to and from the gig! Can't say fairer than that can we!

There are some people who believe in conspiracy theories, and there are those who don't! I'm not saying that these things don't happen...but on the most part it's just old wives talk!
For example... I just read that the judge investigating the death of Princess Diana said on Monday that there was not "a shred of evidence" to back claims that she had been murdered. There's a reason she said this.... I mean come on.....does anyone really believe in this James Bond, British secret service eliminating threats to the Crown etc! I'm a great believer in the modern British Monarchy and was never fooled by Diana's "Rags to Riches" tabloid stories! I truly believe that it was a sad and tragic accident where two human beings lost their lives...as unfortunately happens to thousands of people every year! But, of course, they don't make headlines do they!

C'è gente che crede nelle teorie sulla cospirazione e c'è gente che non ci crede! Non stò dicendo che queste cose non accadono… ma nella maggior parte dei casi è solo il parlottare delle vecchie mogli! Ad esempio… Ho appena letto che il giudice (una donna) che studia la morte della principessa Diana aveva detto lunedì scorso che non c'era “un brandello di prova„ che sostenesse le dicerie sul suo assassinio. C'è un motivo perche lei ha detto questo… Voglio dire... Esiste realmente qualcuno che crede in questi legami da James Bond, da servizi segreti Britannici, che cercano di eliminare ogni tipo di minaccia per la Corona Britannica etc!
Sono un grande credente della moderna Monarchia Britannica e non sono stato raggirato dalle storie di Cenerentola raccontate dei tabloid! Credo che sia stato un incidente triste e tragico dove due esseri umani hanno perso le loro vite… come sfortunatamente accade a migliaia di persone ogni anno! Ma, naturalmente, non fa così tanta notizia.

Today's post is for Ronda...our brave four legged boxer friend! Get well soon!!!!......
She'd been rescued by a friend of mine from a dogs home...her previous shit of an owner had used her for the sole purpose of breeding! She was malnourished, covered in scars and in a poor way! The cinz (who for some strange reason loves men with white legs) and me picked her up and took her home, where she then made a full recovery!
The last few days she hasn't been feeling to well!

Lei è stata salvata da un canile... il suo padrone precedente è stato una vera merda, usando il povero cane per far cuccioli dopo cuccioli! Era magrissima, coperta di cicatrici ed in uno stato pietoso! Io e la Cinz (che per qualche ragione strana ama gli uomini con le gambe bianche) l'abbiamo portata a casa sua dove ha ripresso a stare bene!
Negli ultimi giorni non si è sentita tanto bene.

San Remo - Part 2

Here we go chaps and chapesses! Part 2 of Sanremo!

Yesterday evening I punctually sat in front of the box ready to once again nose-dive into festival hell! A true honour to say the least, but I must admit to not holding faith to my promise, which was to watch the whole festival from beginning to end. What with me not being a particular fan of the Italian music scene I fell prey to a bit of channel hoping!
I must admit that this year the scenery is very well done, with quite a spectacular light show. Another thing I enjoyed was this years “Valletta” (smiling half naked woman) that, with the exception of other years, is not limited to just looking pretty but actually takes part in the show!
But the truth be known, this years festival doesn’t seem any different than previous years…at least for now: The host still flirts with the “Valletta”, the presentation of guests, songs, adverts, comedians and lacking not least, Promotional messages delivered by the host himself! (Very uncommon in other countries)
But the one thing that leaves me rather perplexed is that today’s Sanremo is not spoken about quite as much as in years gone by! That is of course until last night’s “Blasphemy live on TV”. A backstage mic was left turned on and some spirited soul (they still don’t know who) “blasphemed” into the mic for all of Italy to hear! This in a land governed by the Pope really makes news; in fact if you do a search on youtube you’ll no longer find music…only swearwords! (You can’t even find the Sanremo 2000 video where our beloved Kev Cruz, found himself performing alongside Lena Marlin) So, once again, just as yesterday I ask…why is nobody mentioning the music?

Ieri sera puntualmente mi sono sintonizzata sulla tv di stato per l’inizio della seconda puntata di questo Festival Italiano e, a onor del vero, devo ammettere che non sono riuscita a tener fede alla mia promessa: guardare tutto il festival… E’ più forte di me, non amo particolarmente la scena musicale italiana e così continuavo a saltare da un canale all’altro pur di non ascoltarle. In compenso la mia curiosità si è soffermato su ben altro.
Devo ammettere che quest’anno la scenografia è ben curata con un disegno luci degno di nota. Mi è anche piaciuta la scelta della “valletta” che, a differenza delle altre degli anni scorsi, non si limita a far presenza sul palco ma interagisce con gran spirito ironico. Sinceramente anche quest’anno il festival non mi è sembrato diverso da quello delle edizioni passate… almeno al momento… stessa formula: conduttore che interagisce con la compagna, presentazione del cantante, canzone, saluti con i soliti break per i comici, gli ospiti stranieri ed, ovviamente, i “messaggi promozionali” immancabili…
Ma la cosa che mi lascia realmente perplessa è che, ancora oggi, non si parla molto di SAN REMO come negli anni passati… faccio addirittura fatica a trovare sul web degli articoli che negli anni passati erano in primo piano scritti a caratteri cubitali… Tranne uno: la bestemmia in diretta. Short man punches horse!

Just a quick one today! Something I found both amusing and at the same time disturbing!
A jockey has been found guilty of punching his horse in the head in a temper tantrum after losing a race. Lodewijk De Smet, yanked hard on the reins and galloped towards horrified spectators and children after punching the poor horse around the head. The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons said De Smet - who is also a vet - was guilty of using unjustifiable force against his horse.
What an Arshole, should be put down...and I'm not talking about the horse!

Lodewijk De Smet, un fantino, è stato dichiarato colpevole dopo aver dato dei pugni al suo cavallo per aver perso una gara... inoltre lo stesso fantino, ha puntato il cavallo in corsa contro il pubblico, dove erano presenti anche dei bambini, in una scena di rabbia feroce! Sanremmo, the most ‘loved to be criticized’ of all Italian music festivals is once again hitting the little screen in millions of Italian homes. This year is certainly no exception as the media constantly bombard us with endless data, (viewer ratings, share, how much the hostesses’ Valentino dress cost, how many flowers on stage etc) but more than anything it’s the critics that make themselves heard!
This is when we all immediately become experts!
Let’s begin by becoming public records clerks, by divulging the private lives of hosts and musicians alike. We then transform into designers , discussing the number of paillettes used, or if the tonality of a said persons skin contrasts with the colour of the dress. While in the mood let’s take the role of a botanist discussing the wide variety of exotic flowers to be found on the stage... above all the role of a great economist-strategist previewing the rebirth of government thanks to this festival!
At this point I ask myself…what about the music? Why is the music never mentioned. It’s like going to the Oscars discussing how many light bulbs are used to illuminate the stage!
Today I’ve decided not to mention the “conzonetta” style of Italian song writing as everyone is entitled to their own taste and opinion (or lack of in most cases) or the way that the winner is decided! For this you’ll have to stay tuned for the next exiting episode of….Sanremmo!!!

Anche quest’anno riapre in Italia il Festival Musicale più osannato dalla critica: Il Festival di SanRemo… e anche quest’anno, come al solito, la stampa ci bombarda con innumerevoli dati (ascolti, share, quanto costa l’abito firmato di Valentino della conduttrice, quanti fiori ci sono sul palco….) e, soprattutto, di critiche…
Immediatamente tutti diventano dei super esperti di ogni cosa…
Cominciano col diventare degli ufficiali dell’anagrafe raccontando la vita dei conduttori e dei musicisti (come se a noi importa sapere se una persona ha perso la sua laurea per diventare avvocato…), si trasformano poi in stilisti discutendo sul numero delle paillettes usate o se la tonalità del colore del vestito contrasta con quello della pelle, diventano anche botanici discutendo sulla varietà dei fiori sul palco… ma, soprattutto, dei grandi economisti-strateghi che prevedono la rinascita del governo grazie a questo festival.
A questo punto mi chiedo: Ma perché non si parla mai di musica? Che strano…Un festival della musica che non parla di musica… è come andare agli oscar del cinema e parlare di quante lampadine hanno utilizzato per illuminare il palco….
Oggi non mi voglio dilungare sullo stile della “canzonetta” italiana (in fondo i gusti son gusti, c’è a chi piace… e a me no!!!) e neanche sul modo di decretare il vincitore… per questo aspettate “la prossima puntata”…

Hi readers,
As most of you have probably guessed, I'm not the kind of bloke who watches Big Brother or other crap 'reality' shows! So do I really give a flying monkeys if Jade Goody has donated £25,000 to an Indian children's charity while on a trip to New Delhi following the row over her alleged racist bullying of Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty. I'm all for helping poor children, but this is just headline grabbing! The then stroppy moose said "I am not giving the money to improve my image. It is to improve the lives of the underprivileged children" Yeah right!
I'm far more concerned about the 14stone (90Kg) obese eight year old being allowed to remain at home instead of being taken into care! The mother admitted to over feeding her son, who constantly craved food. It's been alleged that it's a form of child abuse, letting your child grow so big. I have to agree!
Man I'm pissed off today!

Come la maggor parte di voi sà, non sono il tipo che segue il Grande Fratello o altri 'reality' di m****. I'm soooooooo happy that the British Government decided to Privatise British rail! The added competition will undoubtedly result in a much safer and efficient service...or so they said! So I was just wondering why, a key component of the points at the centre of the fatal Cumbria rail crash was missing. very strange for a modern and efficient Railway service! One of three stretcher bars was missing and two others were fractured, the Rail Accident Investigation Branch (RAIB) has said. This can't be right!
Why don't we ask Margaret Masson, 84, from Glasgow? Oh that's right we can't because she was killed when the train derailed and rolled down an embankment on Friday night.
A question...how does a private company make a profit for its share holders from a previously non profit service!! I'd bet on raising ticket prices whilst cutting back on safety features...or maybe I'm just a spoil sport!

First off: I hope everyone had a great weekend... I know I did! The truth is though, I feel kind of guilty about not staying at home or indulging in a trip to the local shopping centre! To then top it all off with an evening of family based reality TV... More than once I've been informed that this is how a "mature adult" is supposed to spend his time... not strangling my Guitar down at the studio... followed by a trip to the local DZ for a couple of jumps, topped of with a shooting session at the shooting range and of course...much beer!

Well if mature is like fruit, then I'm not ripe... and we all know what happens to ripe fruit... it starts to rot!

Ma la verita è che mi sento un pò in colpa per non esser rimasto a casa o forse per non aver fatrto una visita al centro commerciale più vicino! Per poi finire con una serata di Reality TV... Prodi, who stayed in power for a astonishing amount of time (nine months) has steped down.
Divided over the war in Afghanistan, Prodi's pretend Communist government was unable to grasp enough votes for a motion backing Rome's foreign policy.
Without a majority, there's no government.....again!! Sure ain't the first time and sure won't be the last!
A government spokesman announced that His Royal Highness Sir Silvio is at present cracking open the Champagne!

Some Blogs write about nothing. Some are poetic and meaningful! I just write what comes into my head..things that are important to me as well as trivial information! I could start by sharing my weekend's cloud hoping experiences, diving out of a plane at 14,000ft watching the clouds rush up towards me..then white, nothing but white..followed by the patchwork of farmland still soooo far below and yet only seconds away! Or I could mention how the world really should read my blog...seeing as how on Friday I mentioned how the World really doesn't need to know about Robbie Williams in Rehab...yet when I arrived home Friday night, what do I find? Britney F****** Spears in Rehab! Are peoples lives soooo trivial that this kind of thing really matters? Or is that what they want...twats like me gossipping and complaining...but all the time playing their game! Free Publicity!

Alcuni Blog parlano del nulla. Alcuni sono poetici! Io scrivo solo quello che mi viene in mente al momento... tutto ciò che reputo importante per me, oppure informazioni insignificanti!

Per esempio: potrei cominciare con le mie esperienze fra le nuvole, volando fuori da un aereo a 4,300 metri... guardando le nuovole correre verso di me... poi il bianco, solo bianco... seguito dalla terra verde... così lontana ma in verità lontana solo pochi secondi! Visto che Venerdì ho parlato di Robbie Williams in clinica per disintossicarsi, sono tornarto a casa la sera stessa per trovare nel Telegiornale che ora c'è Britney F****** Speers in clinica anche lei! Chiedo: ma la vita delle gente è così insignificante che questo tipo di cose è di vitale importanza? When it comes to pop music I must admit to seriously liking good ol' Robbie Williams! But do I really care if his untold success and riches have made him a depressed drug addled, moron...Now, if it's all a publicity stunt to get more recognition in the good ol' US of A...then hats off! If instead he genuinely is a miserable git, then think about this...I'm late with my mortgage, my phones been cut off and instead of buying food....I go Skydiving (not cheap), and do you hear me complaining about it...well actually yes! Maybe tomorrow I'll check into a rehab and see if that helps! Soooooooo, please get this crap out of the news and focus on something important like saving Kittens stuck in trees!

Half dead Rose Merchants

Buon Giorno,
Yesterday, what with it being Valentine's day and all that, I thought I'd follow tradition and get a nice single red rose for the one that stole my heart! By the time I got to the Florists I'd already been propositioned by about 15 'half dead Rose merchants' knocking on the window of my car... when I actually got to the Florists in question I was soooooooo sick of the site of Roses that I changed my mind! It all seemed so commercial, so tacky..sorry, but for me she's worth a million times more than that! Will she ever forgive me....hmmm let's see!
So, instead we went out and had a wonderfull meal together (McDonalds)...you know, just hanging out...no stress, no commercial guilt...just.......cool!
I'll be extra sweet this Saturday...cook a special meal...massage her feet...and take her shopping (ouch, that hurts)!

Ieri, visto che era San Valentino, pensavo di seguire la tradizione e prendere una bella Rosa per la donna che mi ha rubato il cuore! Quando sono finalmente arrivato dal fioraio ho incontrato almeno 15 'venditori di rose mezze morte' che bussavano al finestrino della mia macchina... quando finalmente sono arrivato ero quasi stufo delle Rose che ho cambiato idea!... Scusate, ma mi sembrava così commerciale, per niente romantico. Per me lei vale molto di più.. mi potrà mai perdonare...hmmmm vedremo!
Invece della Rosa... siamo usciti insieme a mangiare schifezze... è stato molto bello... sai, stare insieme... niente stress, niente pressione commerciale... soli... che bello!
Sarò super dolce questo Sabato.... cucinare una cena speciale... massagiare i suoi piedi e portarla a fare shopping (ouch, questo farà male) etc etc...

I'd like to take the opportunity to dedicate this post to the only person on this planet who puts up with my strops.
Allows me to spend all my money and a great deal of hers on various pursuits.
Never complains when I go skydiving for entire weekends.
Complains very little about my crusty socks left by the side of the bed.
And even when times are hard....has the most beautifully smile ever (now the mushy part), a smile that even when I fell like crap is able to make me feel as if everything's ok!

I'd also like to dedicate a few lines to Michael Holmes...the Skydiver who survived a 12,000ft fall under a partially inflated canopy! Hello,
I was going to write about the state of Global politics, giving our world leaders a good ol' bashing. The reason I've decided against this form of protest is due to the fact that I now believe in divine Justice! Let me explain...This morning whilst driving my Porche 911, oops I mean Ford KA, I pulled up at a red light. Now for me, stopping at red lights is normal procedure even if the roads are clear of traffic...this for some strange reason enraged the elderly gentleman behind me, who after much headlight flashing and 'oh' so very much Italian gesticulation, gave me the finger (I do believe that my American cousins say flipped the bird). He then preceded to pull straight past me...... into the path of a police car! I'm sorry, but this confirms...there is a God!

Stavo per scrivere sullo stato della politica nel mondo moderno, dando un pò di merda ai nostri Capi di Stato. La ragione per cui ho cambiato idea è che ora credo nella giustizia divina!

Fatemi spiegare... questa mattina, mentre guidavo la mia Porche 911...scusate volevo dire la mia Ford KA, mi sono fermato al semafero rosso. Per me, fermarmi al rosso è la procedura standard, anche se le strade sono vuote... questo modus operandi, per qualche strana raggione, ha fatto incazzare in vecchietto dietro di me che, dopo tanto lampaggiare e tanto gesticolare in vero stile Itlaiano mi ha mostrato il suo dito. Poi mi ha superato.....dove lo aspettava una macchina della Polizia! Mi dispiace ma questo confirma che....Dio esiste!

I started this Blog originally as a 'temporary adventure' whilst waiting for our official website to be put back on line! I can now state that I've changed my mind...websites tend to be quite static whereas a Blog can almost be thought of as alive...constantly evolving and growing! I've met new friends from all around the globe. I've had a chance to read their thoughts on all manner of subjects...had the chance to share our music with many people and even if out of 1000 people only one person appreciates what were doing then, bingo, I've achieved my goal!
Soooooooooo, within the next month or so http://www.neracruz.com/ will be back on line, but for me, this little ant in the anthill will carry on blogging!
That's all for me as I'm packing my parachute and getting into weekend mode!

Ho comminciato questa Blog come un' 'avventura temporanea' mentre eravamo in attesa che il nostro sito ufficiale tornasse nuovamente online! Addesso posso dire che ho cambiato idea... i siti web spesso sono molto statici, invece un Blog è quasi vivo....sempre in evoluzione...sempre in crescita!
Ho conoscuto nuovi amici da tutto il mondo. Ho avuto la chance di leggere i loro pensieri su tanti argomenti diversi. Ho avuto la possibilità di condividere la nostra musica con tante persone e se su 1000 persone solo ad una persone piace, allora ho attenuto una vittoria personale.
Fra uno o due mesi il sito officiale sarà da nuovo on line, ma io, come un piccolo scribacchino, continuerò a scrivere su questo Blog!
Basta per addesso...stò per piegare il mio paracadute perchè sono già in "modalità" weekend!

Good morning,
So far so good! It's Thursday and I'm correctly wearing my Thursday blue stripped socks. The boiler didn't take too long to get working this morning and the cats hadn't used my shoes as a toilet! Let's hope the day continues in this fashion. I say 'let's hope' because having a great day takes a whole lotta' effort and to tell you the truth all I really want to do is sit in front of the box, eat pot noodles and watch war documentaries on the History Channel......cool!
Hey come on...I bet even Leonardo Da Vinci had lazy days!

Fin'ora va tutto bene! E' giovedì e stò indossando i miei calzini blu con le strisce. Lo scaldabagno non ha avuto difficoltà a funzionare questa mattina ed i gatti non hanno pisciato nelle mie scarpe! Speriamo che la giornata contui in questo modo. Dico 'spero' perche per avere una bella giornata ci vuole un pò d'impegno e a dire la verità l'unica cosa che veramente voglio fare è sedere davanti alla TV, mangiare schifezze mentre guardo documentari di guerra su History Channel....fico!

Helloooo,
Now, I'm not a football fan, (that's soccer for my American buddies) and apart from supporting England during the world cup. I quite honestly hate the sport... but, after the outrages in Sicily where a policeman was killed by Italian hooligans, I feel that the whole thing should be banned!

A man died, leaving behind a wife and child. And for what... all for the sake of 24 men wearing shorts and kicking around a piece of cow!!!! Men who earn more money than sense, fall over all the time (the Italians are good at that), openly hug and kiss each other on the pitch and are hailed as heroes by Italy's leaders...oooops did I mention his royal highness 'Berlosconi'?
Football matches were to be stopped for a while here in Itlay, but we all know that that's not good for business!!
I'm sorry, but it's just not cricket!!!!

Non sono un fan del calcio e, tranne tifare England durante la coppa Mondiale, onestamente odio questo sport... però, dopo quello che è successo in Sicilia dove un poliziotto è stato ucciso dagli holligans Italiani, credo che questo sport deve essere messo al bando!

Un uomo è morto, lascando una moglie ed un figlio, per cosa? Tutto per 24 uomini in colzoncini che corrono dietro ad un pezzo di mucca!!! Uomini con più soldi che cervello, che cadono a terra ogni cinque minuti (in questo gli Italiani sono esperti hahaha) si baciono d'avanti a migliaia di persone e sono eroi per i politici Itlaliani... ooops, ho parlato di sua maestà 'Berlosconi' per caso?
Le partite dovevono esser fermate in Italia per un pò... ma sappiamo che questo non è cosa buona per il business!
Mi dispiace, ma non è il cricket!

This morning when I woke up (half an hour ago) for some reason I was convinced it was Thursday, only to discover that my pink and yellow Tuesday socks were staring at me from the drawer!

Bummer...now I feel as if I've been cheated and must therefore wait an extra two days till' the weekend!
On a lighter note, we've thrown down a few guide tracks and as soon as our drummer stops pussying around (he's got the flu) and our keyboard player remembers how to turn on his computer, we'll be making some rough demos, which I'll then in due course throw onto this Blog for you all to enjoy or hate!

Quando mi sono svegliato (mezz ora fa) ero convinto che fosse giovedì, per poi trovare i miei calzini rosa e gialli che indosso ogni martedì pronti all'uso!

Che sfiga... addesso mi sento truffato e so che devo aspettare altri due giorni prima del weekend! It's official... I'm getting old!

After a great weekend I decided to top of the festive spirit with a....Jigsaw! What's even worse is that I kind of enjoyed it AHHHHH!
Next thing I know I'll be watching reality TV, gameshows, Opra F****** Winfry and desperately trying to think of a reason why I shouldn't throw myself under a Bus!
Talking of Gameshows! Whilst channel flicking, I came accross a reality show called 'Hell's kitchen'...if anyone can tell me what that's all about you'll win a prize. The only thing I could gather, is that it's about some psycho chef shouting at a bunch of wannabe psycho chefs whilst cooking bad food for people with more money than sense! Or am I just a spoil sport?
I hope you all enjoy your week..and please stay off the gameshows they're bad for ones health!

è ufficiale... stò invecchiando!

Dopo un bel weekend ho deciso di aumentare il mio spirito festivo con un... puzzle! La cosa peggiore è che mi sono anche divertito un pò AHHHHHHH!
Il prossimo passo sarà quello di guardare in TV reality, gameshows, Opra F****** Winfry e trovare disperatamente una raggione per non buttarmi sotto un pullman!
Parlando di pessima TV! Ieri sera, mentre facevo un pò di zapping, ho trovato un 'reality' che si chiama 'Hells Kitchen'. Se qualcuno può dirmi di cosa parla, vincerete un premio. L'unica cosa che sono riuscito a capire è che parla di uno psicopatico Chef che grida tutto il giorno ad altri psicopatici aspiranti chef mentre cucinano cibi pessimi per gente che hanno più soldi che cervello! O forse sono solo uno a cui piace rovinare la festa?
Spero che vi divertirete durante questa settimana... e, per favore, state lontano dai Gameshows... "Nuoce alla salute!"

This weekend I have a choice...either I indulge in my many hobbies Skydiving, blasting inanimate objects down the local shooting range or slowly destroying my battle scared liver with that fruity goodness more commonly known as wine...or I could buy food!
Facing a dilemma like this it's hardly surprising I suffer from insomnia! (or maybe it's the hunger)

Oppure compro da mangiare!

Why is it that all my friends, colleagues and acquaintances love sun, sand and palm trees and yet I love rain, wind, snow and huge thunderstorms?

No, I'm not a Goth, I leave that to the Singer!

For me the ultimate nightmare is a holiday on the beach... roasting like sausage and getting bored! Today is thick fog, and I feel great... I look out of the window and, I dont know why, feel happy.

I'd best get the Guitar out and write a few tunes.
Oh well if we were all the same the world would be a pretty dull place, no?

The second is Los Angelestf, an 80's style dance band and seriously good to boot!
